Philadelphia based band CVGES release their second single ‘Cluiche Gránna‘ from their forthcoming EP ‘The Parting Gift’. ‘Cluiche Gránna’ is an adaptation as Gaeilge of ‘Wicked Game’ written by Chris Isaak.
Arranged by Sarah Sylvia, the song is performed on cello and piano providing an ethereal take on the original. Although there may be a language barrier for some, Sarah Sylvia’s emotional vocal performance transcends this; as does the simple yet elegant instrumentation.
The track was released alongside a beautifully shot music video, filmed in Ireland during a visit home.
