Company of Thieves are back with latest EP ‘Better Together’

Company of Thieves are back with reunion release, Better Together. After a hiatus of just over three years, the band return with a five track EP featuring brand new material and a live recording of ‘Oscar Wilde’ from their debut album, Ordinary Riches.

Opening track, ‘Treasure’, is a gritty rock song that gives a biting account of betrayal and loss while ‘Window’ is an indie pop cry for clarity. ‘Younger’ brings a more laid back vibe to the fore with the lyrics professing a sorrowful realisation.

Established in 2007, Company of Thieves parted ways to work on their own individual projects in 2014. The band announced they would reunite in mid 2017 with tour dates and new material in the pipeline. Better Together is the first collection of songs released since the band reformed and displays an assured sense of musical direction.
