‘Sense of Place’ is Dublin four piece, Montauk Hotel’s second release from their self titled debut EP.
Heavily influenced by 80’s pop, their sound is familiar, however the band succeed in making it their own by adding a catchy, indie-pop twist. Most notably in ‘Sense of Place’, their creativity shines through with melodic guitar hooks and a strong vocal melody.
Based in Dublin and having played venues across the city from Workmans to Whelans, the band are fast becoming a staple on the local music scene, not to be missed.
Check out the music video for ‘Sense of Place’ below, directed, filmed and edited by lead vocalist Claudia Verdecchia.
